Canandaigua, NY — (July 16, 2013) — Doug Emery won Tuesday night’s “Smoke Shootout” at Canandaigua Motorsports Park. Bryan Howland and Jason Barney followed Emery over the finish line.
The feature event was delayed after a 14 car pile up on lap six of the feature involving Tony Stewart and Shawn Donath made contact. At least four cars got upside down in the incident with several others piling in. Alyasha Ruggles and Paul Kinney were transported to local hospitals after the incident. Kinney is now home after several tests last night. Alysha Ruggles was transferred to Strong Medical in Rochester for more tests. She is in good spirits and we hope for a very speedy recovery!
