Findlay, OH — (March 9, 2015) — Over a year ago a group of race fans, community business men and racers came together to strategize about how they could bring back racing to Millstream Speedway. Today, new promoters for Millstream Motorsports Complex, home of; Millstream Speedway, are releasing a long awaited 8 race schedule with special events to compliment the 2015 dirt track race season.

The grand kickoff for 2015 will be on Sunday May 31st, with the newly purchased All Star Circuit of Champions, by three-time NASCAR Sprint Cup series Champion, Tony Stewart. The highly anticipated race will bring back grass roots racing to Findlay, Ohio. Special guests will include former President of the All Stars and Secretary-Treasurer-Program Editor; Bert and Brigitte Emick. The Emick’s recently had a chance to meet and congratulate the new owner in Florida. Historically fans have had a hard time predicting, “Who will win an All-Star show?” Race fans will recall, ironically, the Emick’s, adopted a “mission statement” in the 2001 All-Star program, which may turn out to be a reflection of the 2015 season for the All Star group. The mission statement was as follows, “Coming together is a beginning, keeping together is progress, and working together is SUCCESS.” Dirt track race fans hope the new owner will take the organization to a higher level, and Millstream Motorsports Complex is honored to be apart of the historical season.

The month of June will also be history making on June 14th when the 3rd leg of the Buckeye Late Model, “Dirt Week Speedweek”, with Stocks and Mini-sprints hit the ½ mile clay oval. June 28th will host Non-winged Sprints, 360 Sprints and Modified teams, making a total of 6 different racing divisions for the month.

July 5th, the All-Stars return with 305 sprints for the inaugural, “Infield Fan Fare,” where race fans can take the infield, to experience the thunder, throughout the night.

August 2nd, the Boss Non-wing Sprints will go the distance for a $1500.
purse, with Mini-Sprints. August 23rd the All-Stars return for their final appearance of the 2015 season with 305 Sprints. The month’s racing finishes up on August 30th featuring Late Models, Modifieds and Stocks for the “Parking Lot BBQ Pitmaster Challenge,” racing and tasty entertainment.

Racing finale will be Sunday October 11th for the 410 Sprint “Trick or Treat 30” with Late Models to close out the season. Gates will open up for all racing events at 1 pm, hot laps at 6 pm.

The Hammer’s continue to work diligently to bring the facility up to the standards to make racers, community members and race fans proud to be apart of dirt track racing. The goal will be to partner with other sanctioning bodies and different forms of motorsports to provide quality entertainment to the community.
