Petaluma, CA — (May 18, 2015) — The Wingless Series Presented by Joe Hunt Magnetos rain date that was originally scheduled to take place this Saturday, May 23rd at the Petaluma Speedway has been pushed back to July 18th, still at the Petaluma Speedway.

“After talking with Rick Faeth at the Petaluma Speedway, we felt it was right to change this date again, as many families plan vacations around their racing schedule, and with this being a holiday weekend and an unscheduled race, it madse sense to postpone until July,” John Prentice said.

The postponement means the series will now come back to life on Saturday, May 30th at the high-banked Placerville Speedway in Placerville, CA as the series will run in conjunction with the California Civil War Sprint Car Series presented by Flowmaster.

With two races in the books in 2015, young guns have been tough to beat as Santa Rosa pilot, and series point leader, Joe Stornetta, won the Silver Cup back in March, and Brentwood, CA wheelman, Colton Slack, made history as he picked up a hard fought win at the Calistoga Speedway in mid April.

As mentioned Joe Stornetta leads the series into action as the current point leader, with Nick Larson, Colton Slack, Gary Nelson, Jr., and Shane Myhre in a very tight point battle.

Other drivers that are expected to make the trip to the Placerville Speedway on May 30th include, Shanyna Sylvia, Terry Schank, Jr, Klint Simpson, Bradley Clark, Bryan Grier, Zack Kavert, Angerlique Bell, and many others.
