410 Sprint Cars Compete for $6,600 jackpot in 40 lap event with 600cc Micro Sprints at Fred Rahmer Promotions event at Path Valley Speedway Park

SPRING RUN, Pa. (October 11, 2015) – The 600cc Micro Sprint competitors have something to be thankful for as the 25 lap feature event will now pay $1,000—and Fred Rahmer Promotions will offer bonus bucks to the winners of each qualifying heat event. The 600cc Micro Sprints will join up with the popular 410 Sprint Cars to compete on Sunday, October 18 in this season’s final #PartyAtThePath event at the Path Valley Speedway.

Along with a $1,000 top prize to the feature winner, a $500 pot will be divvied up among heat race winners. Drivers claiming a heat race victory from outside a front row starting spot will receive $125, while competitors with the advantage of starting in the front row will receive $75. Any monies uncollected from the $500 pot will be awarded to the first non-qualifying car.

Along with heat race bonus money, four right rear Hoosier Racing Tires will be distributed to 600cc Micro Sprint competitors based on a random drawing during the drivers’ meeting. Also, the winner of the 600cc Micro Sprint Championship, along with a random driver that has competed in all three #PartyAtThePath events, will receive a test session aboard a Fred Rahmer-owned 410 Sprint Car.

The area’s top 410 Sprint Car competitors will compete in a 40 lap event that pays $6,600 to win – in a tribute to the late Harry Fletcher, a long-time Sprint Car owner and dear friend of the Rahmer family. A $500 bonus is offered to the winner of each 410 Sprint Car qualifying heat event, as long as the winner comes from outside the front row. If a driver from the front row picks up the victory they will receive $200 for their win, and the additional $300 will be added into the Lawrence Chevrolet Non-Qualifers jackpot.

Other bonuses for the 410 Sprint Cars include a $500 Invader Bonus to any non-central Pennsylvania regular, a $500 Quick Time bonus to the driver setting the fastest Time Trial lap, as well as Hard Charger and Hard Luck awards. Six right rear Hoosier Racing Tires will be distributed to 410 Sprint Car drivers based on a fan vote.

Area favorites like Danny Dietrich, Brent Marks, Aaron Ott, and Cory Haas are expected to be in attendance, while invaders from the All-Star Circuit of Champions include: Cody Darrah, Greg Wilson, and Cole Duncan.

Sunday, October 18 is Armed Forces Appreciation Night – active and retired military members are invited to attend and will be offered a half-price general admission ticket.

All the action takes place on Sunday, October 18 with the gates opening at Noon, Warm-ups at 4:30 and Time Trials starting at 5 PM.
