WINDOM, Minn. (April 13, 2016) – Big Game Motorsports driver Danny Lasoski is heading to his home away from home this weekend.

The Muddy backed team will tackle Knoxville Raceway in Knoxville, Iowa, on Saturday for the famed half-mile track’s season-opening event.

“Since Tod Quiring put this team together I couldn’t be more proud of the effort that Guy (Forbrook) and the guys have put into it,” he said. “I’m very proud to be their driver. The first thing on our radar is the Saturday night in August. The Knoxville Nationals, words can’t describe what it means to win that race.”

Lasoski is a four-time winner of the most prestigious event in sprint car racing and he said preparation is underway for the next opportunity this summer.

“Someone once said every race, not only at Knoxville, is practice leading up to the Knoxville Nationals and I truly believe that,” he said. “Another goal is to win a track championship at Knoxville and the National Sprint League title as well. It’s a lot to ask for since we did it last year, but we have to have lofty goals.”

Lasoski and Big Game Motorsports are coming off a stout season that included the inaugural NSL championship as well as the title at Knoxville Raceway, which was the 10th of Lasoski’s career.

“No matter what pit gate we pull through our mindset is we want to win,” he said. “We absolutely love racing at Knoxville. The track is always great and the fans are second to none.”

Lasoski has earned a track-leading 106 feature wins in the 410ci class, including a track-best six victories on Opening Day at Knoxville Raceway.
