Two More New Winners and Weather Takes Another One in Central Pa. Series

Cold wet weather once again forced the cancellation of Williams Grove Speedway Friday night. The weather cleared Saturday allowing both Port Royal and Lincoln to get their shows in. At Lincoln Speedway Mike Bittinger won and became the 8th different Speedway Motors Central PA Sprint Car Point Series feature winner for 2011.

Russ Stoehr NEMA Blast Off Winner

Wanting to “just get it over with,” defending champion Russ Stoehr grabbed the lead with four laps gone and went on to an impressive win in the Northeastern Midget Association’s 59th season opener Sunday at Waterford Speedbowl’s Bud Blast Off. Despite two restarts, Stoehr (Dumo’s Desire 45) was never seriously challenged.
