National Sprint League Showcases Many Different Winners During Standout Season
The National Sprint League had a banner season during its sophomore campaign.
The 410ci winged sprint car series is heading to St. Francois County Raceway in Farmington, Mo., for the 21st annual Queen’s Royale, which pays $3,000 to win and $600 to start on Friday and $5,000 to win and $700 to start on Saturday.
Defending series champion Danny Lasoski is currently on top of the championship standings by 242 points. With a maximum of 440 points a driver can earn during an NSL event, the championship chase is anything but wrapped up.
The series will take this weekend off before returning to action on Aug. 27 at Knoxville Raceway in Knoxville, Iowa, for the half-mile oval’s final NSL event of the season.
