BELLEVILLE’S 2ND “HUSTLE ON THE HIGH BANKS” FRIDAY
The second annual “Hustle on the High Banks” is on tap for the USAC Silver Crown Championship Series Friday night at the famed “Belleville High Banks” in Kansas. Tracy Hines is the defending race champion on the half-mile dirt oval which hosts this week’s “Belleville Midget Nationals.” The Silver Crown cars practice Thursday and race Friday, with a 50-lap main event.

R.J. Johnson’s USAC Southwest Sprint Car point lead now stands at 144 points over Charles Davis Jr. after Johnson won Saturday night’s “Summer Slam” at Canyon Speedway Park in Peoria, Ariz. Trey Marcham (Dirt) and Jarid Blondel (Overall) will lead the Honda USAC Western Midgets to their next appearance, August 9, in the “John Soares Classic” at Petaluma (Calif.) Speedway. Marcham has a 17-point lead over Gardner in the dirt standings, while Blondel’s lead in the overall points is 32 over Marcham.
