“We just can’t get the car to drive forward or nothing,” he said. “We’ve changed everything. We’re actually going to put another car together.”
Once again, his lack of luck struck on Saturday when the u-joint broke in his truck en route to the World of Outlaws STP Sprint Car Series NAPA Auto Parts Rumble in Michigan at I-96 Speedway in Lake Odessa, Mich.
After taking nearly a month off to heal from a broken left arm, Rose competed with the World of Outlaws STP Sprint Car Series as it made its first visit of the season to Pennsylvania. While a couple of low qualifying spots put Rose behind from the start each night, his arm felt normal during the latest test.
Unfortunately, a last-minute emergency prohibited Rose from returning to World of Outlaws STP Sprint Car Series action after a broken left arm has sidelined him for much of this season.
“He said I need to stay out for three or four more weeks,” Rose said. “The thing is I didn’t get to do physical therapy on the road. Now he’s got me on physical therapy and I’m going to do it every day I’m home.”
