The “Myerstown Missile” Brent Marks cashed out in Las Vegas with two main event starts during World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series competition, finishing as high as 12th in the running order amongst a field of 40-plus World of Outlaws competitors.

World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series Rookie of the Year contender Brent Marks will begin his travels westward with the Greatest Show On Dirt with a two-day stop in east Texas; an area primarily unknown to the Myerstown, Pennsylvania, native, with his only Texas starts, two to be exact, occurring in late February of last season. The “Myerstown Missile” highlighted his prior visit with a 13th place finish during World of Outlaws competition at the Cotton Bowl Speedway in Paige, Texas.

The “Myerstown Missile” Brent Marks opened his 2017 season in impressive fashion; participating in the entire sprint car portion of the DIRTcar Nationals at Volusia Speedway Park, three of which World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series programs. Marks, pilot of the Brent Marks Racing/M&M Painting & Construction/BAPS Auto Paint & Supply/No. 19, ended his Florida campaign with one top-ten finish and four main event starts.

Brent Marks will begin his rookie campaign with the World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series in less than a week, igniting a near-ten month trek throughout much of the United States and Canada, highlighted with over 90 programs which will feature the world’s most decorated sprint car drivers and race teams.

The “Myerstown Missile” Brent Marks will launch his first-ever campaign with the World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series with a new look, as well as a new number, each commemorating a major step in his racing career.

In conjunction with the 29th Annual Performance Racing Industry Trade Show in Indianapolis, Indiana, the “Myerstown Missile” Brent Marks hopes to solidify his plans for the upcoming year during the next two to three weeks. The Myerstown, Pennsylvania, native has been taking the necessary steps in narrowing down his campaign trail for the 2017 season, but hopes to release his final plan of attack just after PRI.

Brent Marks ended his 2016 season inside the top-five; finishing fourth during the $5,000-to-win Sprint Showdown at Susquehanna Speedway on Saturday, November 5. The “Myerstown Missile” flirted with a podium finish during the entire main event, sliding back to fourth with a few circuits remaining after missing a last chance effort to take control of the top spot.
