Trialling a brand-new KRE Race Engines powerplant, James McFadden managed to come away from Archerfield Speedway last Saturday night with a pleasing second place finish in the opening round of the KRE Sprintcar Series.

The road to recovery for James McFadden took a turn for the better over the weekend at Mac’s Speedway in North Queensland, after he came up fine from the two night Mackay Sprintcar Challenge event.

In what was his first Sprintcar race meeting in six months; James McFadden made a return at Brisbane International Speedway during the second round of the Winter Sprintcar Series recently, as he continued his road to recovery from his shoulder injury.

In what was a welcomed sight to everyone; James McFadden made his long awaited return to the track over the weekend at Brisbane International Speedway via the Wingless Sprint class.

After much deliberation and under the stern advice of doctors; James McFadden has today unfortunately confirmed that he is going to be sidelined for the best part of the next two months of racing due to an ongoing injury.

The final round of the World Series Sprintcar (WSS) Championship certainly didn’t end the way that James McFadden had planned last Saturday night at the Perth Motorplex in Western Australia and it saw him robbed of a good finish due to a deflated tyre.

Despite the disappointing start to the Western Australian leg of the World Series Sprintcar (WSS) Championship, James McFadden is determined to finish off the remaining rounds on a solid note and claims that he has nothing to lose and all to gain.

After being a late withdrawal from last weekend’s Australian Sprintcar Nationals at Speedway City due to injury; James McFadden is loaded with confidence on his return to the wheel of his WA # 25 Totally Workwear supported Cool for the resumption of the World Series Sprintcar (WSS) Championship.

Although it wasn’t the desired end result to his Australian Sprintcar Championship defence; James McFadden was content with his efforts that netted him a sixth place finish in the feature race.

In what was the second biggest victory of his young career; James McFadden last Friday night walked away with the Kings Challenge honours at Borderline Speedway and he then backed up that result with a hard fought Top 5 finish in the Grand Annual Classic at Premier Speedway.

A number of hard fought results over the past few weekends have moved James McFadden up to fourth place in the current overall point standings of the World Series Sprintcar (WSS) Championship.

A second place finish in the fourth round of the World Series Sprintcar (WSS) Championship over the weekend at Latrobe’s Bendigo Bank Arena was current Australian Champion James McFadden’s best performance of the season.
