Sitterly Wins at Oswego
For the second race in a row Otto Sitterly parked his Nicotra Racing Supermodified on the front stretch at Oswego Speedway. This time however, Sitterly climbed out of the No. 7 as a five-time champion of the prestigious 75-lap Jim Shampine Memorial event as a part of the Helena Chemical Company Memorial Day Weekend ‘Triple-Header’ at the ‘Steel Palace.’

PERLEY WINS MURPHY MEMORIAL AT OSWEGO
Chris Perley made a triumphant return to Oswego Speedway victory lane Saturday night but it was not entirely a joyous one. On Thursday, May 2nd, ISMA and the area-racing world lost a legend and a great friend when Irish Jack Murphy died.

Graham Repeats as Race of Champions Supermodified Victor
For the second year in a row, Ray Graham Jr. is a Race of Champions winner. Graham passed Joe Gosek on lap 42 and then breezed on to lead the final 20-laps to garner the Novelis Supermodified portion of the 62nd Annual SUNOCO Race of Champions at Oswego Speedway on Saturday worth $3,000.

Schartner Shows the Way in Race of Champions SBS Main
Andrew Schartner proved the outside does work at Oswego Speedway, passing four cars in four laps on the high side, before cutting under Mike Bruce on the next circuit to score his first Pathfinder Bank SBS Series main of 2012 as a part of the 62nd annual SUNOCO Race of Champions on Friday evening.

Car owner Steve Miller began his supermodified career in 1971. Over the years he has fielded many cars with many drivers aboard and his car, nicknamed the Sweet Sixteen, has been a familiar site at Oswego, all over the northeast and in Canada.

MCCUNE CLAIMS OSWEGO MUST SEE GO; COX MAKES HISTORY
Jimmy McCune claimed his first TRUFUEL Must See Racing Xtreme Sprint Series (MSRXSS) of the year Saturday night at the legendary Oswego Speedway before a packed house. The series was making its second appearance of a trip through the state of New York that began two nights earlier at Shangri-La II Speedway. The MSRXSS was participating for the first-time-ever at Oswego and the annual ‘ King of Wings ‘ event.
