Chris Andrews was determined not to let a feature win slip through his grasp Thursday, June 18 at Waynesfield Raceway Park. The Sandusky, Ohio driver got up on the wheel the last three laps and blasted around Bryce Lucius in the last corner of the last lap to score the NAPA Auto Parts All Star Circuit of Champions presented by Valvoline Oil win during the 44th Annual Overwatch Precision Ohio Sprint Speedweek Presented by Kistler Engines and Kistler Racing Products.

Tripleheader Ohio Weekend Ahead for Great Lakes Super Sprints

Celebrating 249 years of Independence, the Ohio CAT Great Lakes Super Sprints Presented by PERFIT & ARP are headed into the Holiday weekend with three races and three tracks on the schedule. Waynesfield Raceway Park kicks off the weekend on Thursday, Limaland Motorsports Park holds the middle of the weekend on Friday, with the quarter-mile at Millstream Raceway wrapping up the tripleheader.

Cale Thomas wins thriller at Waynesfield on night 3 of Ohio Sprint Speedweek

Cale Thomas held off a late race charge from Danny Dietrich to win the third night of the 42nd Annual Ohio Sprint Speedweek at Waynesfield Raceway Park by just .001 seconds. Thomas’ victory came despite a broken rear suspension piece after he collided with the front stretch wall midway through the 30-lap Ti 22 Performance FAST on Dirt Series A-main.
