Byron Reed has been racing quite awhile now. But even a veteran can start doubting himself when he goes through a drought. Reed, a six time Attica Raceway Park champion, came into the Kistler Racing Products Presents the Mark Keegan Classic Championship Night winless in 2014. […]
It’s hard to believe after all the wins he has accumulated at Fremont Speedway over the years that Byron Reed hadn’t won a University of Northwestern Ohio All Star Circuit of Champions feature at “The Track That Action Built.” […]
Byron Reed got a pep talk from Mark Keegan this week…and it paid off. The Monclova, Ohio driver led all 30 laps Friday, July 8 at Attica Raceway Park to claim his 28th career victory in O’Reilly Auto Parts 410 Sprints. For Reed, a six time and defending Attica track champion, it was his first win of the season at “Ohio’s Finest Racing” speedplant, and what a present it was for the Smith Family Foods/Sutton Bank Christmas In July event.
Byron Reed proved his team is resilient. After last weekend when mechanical woes cost him the Kistler Racing Products Fremont Attica Sprint Title (FAST) point lead, the Monclova Missile set out to regain that championship form and did just that Saturday, June 11 on Crown Battery Night at Fremont Speedway.
Byron Reed, (410 sprints), Ryan Missler (late models), D.J. Foos (305 sprints) and Brian Arnold (dirt trucks) were honored as Attica Raceway Park 2010 champions during a gala banquet Friday at the Attica Fairgrounds Banquet Hall.

All looked lost for Byron Reed when he slid off the track while leading late in the race. But redemption was just around the corner for the Monclova, Ohio driver when leader Tim Shaffer ran out of fuel with five laps remaining, handing Reed the lead. He would go on to take the opening night of Ohio Sprint Speedweek at Attica Raceway Park Friday, his second O’Reilly Auto Parts All Star Circuit of Champions win at the track this season. […]
Byron Reed is off to a FAST (Fremont Attica Sprint Title) start to 2010. The Monclova, Ohio driver held off Dale Blaney to win his second straight 410 sprint feature at Fremont Speedway Saturday, May 15 on Roots Poultry Night. […]
While finishing second in the points at two Northwest Ohio tracks in 2009 might be a career for some 410 sprint drivers, for Monclova, Ohio’s Byron Reed, it was a disappointing season that saw him find victory lane only once. Reed rededicated himself in the off-season, and has stormed out of the gates to start 2010, claiming his 8th career win with the O’Reilly Auto Parts All Star Circuit of Champion on HD Supply Spring Nationals Night at Attica Raceway Park Saturday. That comes on the heals of a second place run last week to open Attica’s season. […]
