Syracuse, NY — (February 28, 2013) — SYRACUSE, NY – If there has ever been on constant in the 27 year history of the Motorsports Expo Trade Show held annually in the spring at the New York State Fairgrounds is that every single year the Lucas Oil Empire Super Sprints (ESS) have been a part of the festivities. This year marks the 30th Anniversary of the sprint car sanctioning body and the show will kick off the celebration on March 9 & 10.

Each year ESS has one of the largest booths at the show which is highlighted by its autograph session held on Saturday and this year will be no different.  Fans will get to see the winged sprint cars of defending champion Chuck Hebing, Shawn Donath, Paul Kinney, Sammy Reakes IV, Joe Trenca, Charlie Donk, Paul Habeck and the all new machines of first time sprint car campaigners Vinny Vitale and Dave Axton.

All these stars and many more will be at the show over the course of the two days with the autograph session going off at 2:30 on Saturday.  Not only can the fans get their favorite driver’s autographs but pick up the all new 30th Anniversary merchandise, schedules and so much more.

This year’s tour is filled with a total of 28 dates at 18 different facilities with 17 of them on dirt and one on asphalt.  The tour will visit New York, Pennsylvania as well as Ontario and Quebec, Canada.  Selinsgrove, Fulton, Humberstone and Ohsweken make a return to the tour.  I-88 Speedway will hold its first ever ESS event and the asphalt of Evans Mills will make history with ESS’ first ever asphalt assault.

The Expo will once again be in the Center of Progress Building located on the South side of the Fairgrounds. Doors are open 10-9 on Saturday and 11-4 on Sunday.  The event is brought to you by the fine folks of Gater Racing News, proud sponsors of the ESS Lap Leader Award.  For more information you can log on to www.gaternews.com
