Lake Odessa, MI — (August 21, 2015) –Steve Kinser showed classic form in route to winning Friday night’s UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions feature Friday night at I-96 Speedway.  Kinser took the lead on the opening lap and held of Sheldon Haudenschild through several restarts for the victory.  The win was Kinser’s second of the season and 37th during all Star victory of his career.

Dustin Daggett and Danny Holtgraver started on the front row for the 25-lap feature event.  Daggett look the lead while Kinser passed Holtgraver for second.  Then going into turn three Daggett slide off the edge of the race track, handing the lead over to Kinser with Sheldon Haudenschild moving into second chasing after him.

Following a caution for a spin by Travis Philo, Kinser pulled away from Haudenschild during the restart.  Behind them local driver Ryan Ruhl began to move up through the field using the outside lane of the track to drive around Tim Shaffer during the restart and by Chad Kenenah for fourth on lap seven.

Kinser began to overtake slower cars on lap 10, but sliced through the lapped traffic to open up a full straightaway lead over Haudenschild.  On lap 15 the caution appeared when Caleb Armstrong slid off the backstretch.  Armstrong would restart at the tail of the field.

Kinser pulled away to another sizeable lead after the restart while Holtgraver looked under Haudenschild through turns one and two for the second position, but was unable to make the pass.  One lap later Ruhl slid off the track while racing with Kemenah for the fourth spot and dropped back through the field.

Kinser continued to increase his lead until lap 22 when Logan Forler stopped in turn one to bring out the caution flag.  Forler went to the work area, but was able to make the restart.  On the ensuing restart Andrew Palker brought out the caution again when he stopped in turn two with damage on the right front of his machine.  Palker retired pit side.

Kinser had another great restart and opened up his lead again.  Behind the lead duo Cody Darrah was making a late charge through the field, taking over fifth from Shaffer and pressuring Kemenah for fourth spot following the restart.

With six laps to go Kinser started to approach slower traffic, but was up for the challenge picking up the feature victory over Haudenschild, Holtgraver, Darrah, and Shaffer.
