Rossburg, OH – (October 10, 2015) – Chad Kemenah ended the 2015 UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions season in victory lane winning the UNOH Sprintacular on Saturday night at Eldora Speedway. The win was Kemenah’s second of the season with the All Stars. The win completed a sweep where Kemenah was the fastest qualifier, won his heat race, won the dash, and the main event.

For Kemenah the victory was proof of himself along with the Hunter Racing team getting faster the later part of the season.

“I just can’t think my car owner enough (Rob and Rita Hunter). We switched cars and have to thank Dan at Maxim, they kind of helped us get our program turned around. My brother and his wife Stacy, Todd, Luke, and everybody. I am kind of speechless right now. We’ve been kind of mentally beat up this year. We tried to re-invent the tire all year, and its still round.”

Blaney actually go past Kemenah for the lead during the middle of the race, with Kemenah able to pass him back. Kemenah described his internal motivation for getting by Blaney in victory lane.

“It pissed me off, I’m tired of losing. I had to get back up on the fence and get after it, win it or wear it.”

Kemenah led the first lap with Blaney driving into second around Kinser in turns one and two. Kemenah drove the cushion while Blaney gave chase through the middle of the race track. Greg Wilson moved into the top five, five laps into the event around Bryan Sebetto just as Kemenah approached slower traffic.

Kemenah stumbled a bit off turn four on lap six and allowed Blaney to slowly close in. Blaney dove around traffic on lap eight to close on Kemenah, but Kemenah used a daring move to put tow slower cars between himself and Blaney.

With 10 laps to go Blaney closed in on Kemenah’s back bumper after clearing lapped traffic. Kemenah and Blaney continued to race through slower traffic when BLaney made his move off turn four on lap 14 to take the lead off turn four. Kemenah came back the following lap on the high side, but Blaney cleared the slower car of Logan Forler and pulled away by three car lengths.

Blaney pulled away cutting through slower traffic when the red flag appeared on lap 18 when Sheldon Haudenschild got upside down in turn four after making contact with the wall. Haudenschild exited the car under his own power.

Kemenah hung with Blaney following the restart and threw a slide job on Blaney to take the lead with eight laps to go. Behind them Rico Abreu was charging through the field, entering the top five with four laps to go after having to run the B-Main, starting 22nd in the main event. The completion of the race changed though when Andrew Palker spun in front of the leaders in turns one and two. Palker was able to restart and join the tail of the field.

Blaney hung with Kemenah during the restart, looking under Kemenah for the lead. Blaney dove under Kemenah with three laps to go on both ends of the race track, but could not make the pass. Blaney lost momentum while Kememah scooted away to his second All Star feature win of the season. Blaney, Kinser, Tim Shaffer, and Abreu rounded out the top five.

Kemenah was the fastest qualifier with a lap of 12.841 seconds and also won his heat race. Danny Holtgraver, Logan Wagner, Wilson and Tim Shaffer also won heat race events. Kemenah also won the dash event while Haudenschild won the B-Main.
