If you keep on racing, the levee’s goin’ to break. And, eventually, the wins are going to flood in. With his first win coming in the 47th start of his career in mid-July, it took Daison Pursley just five more to capture his second career USAC NOS Energy Drink National Midget victory on Wednesday night during the second round of Eastern Midget Week at Kutztown, Pennsylvania’s Action Track USA.

This scene looked all too familiar for Chris Windom. Two years ago, in the most recent edition of USAC NOS Energy Drink National Midget racing at Bechtelsville, Pennsylvania’s Grandview Speedway, Windom experienced a roller coaster final lap in which he saw his race lead slip away in the first turn only to race back past Tyler Courtney for the narrow win.
