Saturday’s Selinsgrove Event in Doubt

The winged 410 sprint car event scheduled for Saturday at Selinsgrove Speedway is now in doubt due to a change in government mandate. Selinsgrove Speedway officials announced on Thursday that the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development (DCED) reached out to the track with a mandate to shut down this Saturday’s race per the office of state governor Tom Wolf.

Robert Ballou Cleared To Race; Adds Winged Programs to 2020 Schedule

Working to recover from an jury sustained in June of 2019, Robert Ballou is ready to race. Though COVD-19 has put racing on hold up to date, Ballou is excited to announce that he will team up with famed Pennsylvania engine builder, Don Ott, and run a slate of winged races to go along with his non wing schedule in 2020.

USAC Western Director Chris Kearns has announced that the May 16th “Duel at the Diamond” featuring the USAC SouthWest Sprint Cars at Canyon Speedway Park has been cancelled. The United States Auto Club (USAC) and track promoters are working on options to reschedule events once racing resumes.
