Wheatley Dampened by Weather at Skagit Speedway Season Debut

The team is building a new car and putting the primary engine back in for an ASCS Sooner Region event at Lawton Speedway in Lawton, Okla., on Saturday following a struggle with the ASCS Lone Star Region last weekend.
Bergman claimed his inaugural race at Outlaw Motorsports Park in Wainwright, Okla., last season and he picked up his first career Lucas Oil ASCS National Tour triumph during the series’ last visit at Riverside International Speedway in West Memphis, Ark., in 2012.
“It was another good weekend, and I hope we can keep the momentum up from our last two races,” he said.
“Our whole mindset was to find a way to put it in the A Main,” he said. “Fortunately we were able to and we learned a lot about our race car.”
