To simplify the shock that left a packed house in awe, Freddie Rahmer came from fourth to first in a wild last lap to score his first career “410” sprint car win, coming on the heels of brother Brandon’s first career win one week earlier.
In his first Lincoln appearance since competing in the “A” main at the Knoxville Nationals, Dietrich started last in his heat, made the 12-car handicap, started 12th, and drove away to his sixth Lincoln win in the BAPS Night “410” sprint car feature at Lincoln Speedway Saturday night.
So dominant that he gave up a half-lap lead when the final caution flag of the event came out with five laps to go
Dietrich came from 12th starting spot to claim his second straight Lincoln Speedway win, third win of the week, and sixth win over the past three weeks in Saturday night’s Pepsi Night 25-lap feature event in the Pigeon Hills. It was Dietrich’s 12th overall win of 2015.
