It’s East vs. West this Friday night at the Brockway Mechanical & Roofing Sprint Invaders Illinois River Rumble at the Jacksonville Speedway! The Sprint Invaders got things underway last weekend at the Peoria Speedway, with Bret Tripplett picking up the win.

Bret Tripplett Scores First Win With Sprint Invaders at Peoria!
On a night when drivers had to “saddle up” on a heavy and rough track, Bret Tripplett looked at home in the middle of it all. The Lincoln, Illinois driver scored his first ever victory with the Brockway Mechanical & Roofing Spring Invaders on Friday night at the Peoria Speedway.

Dustin Selvage Wins Feature, Matt Sutton Wins Title at 34 Raceway!
Dustin Selvage is called “The Shocker”, but his win on Saturday night didn’t shock many in attendance at the 34 Raceway near West Burlington, Iowa as he had a dominant ride to his first career win with the Ideal Ready Mix Sprint Invaders. Forty-one sprint cars descended on West Burlington for Season Championship Night for the Invaders. Matt Sutton emerged with his first series title.

Due to the persistent rain today and with the forecast of more late this afternoon and this evening, the races at Jacksonville Speedway for tonight Sept. 9th have been canceled. We will return next Friday for the Herb Barlow Memorial with Sprints and POWRi Midgets and Micros.

Matt Sutton and Ben Wagoner topped features on the “Night of the Twins” at the 34 Raceway in West Burlington, Iowa Saturday night. The Ideal Ready Mix Sprint Invaders event saw 26 sprinters tow in to compete in twin 20-lap feature events.
