New York native, Justin Barger, who now hails from Cornelius, North Carolina won his career 2nd and 2019 season 1st USCS Outlaw Thunder Tour presented by K&N Filters main event on Friday night at newly re-opened Deep South Speedway in Loxley, Alabama.

Austin Liggett Wins USAC West Coast Feature at the Peter Murphy Classic
Securing the lead from Richard Vander Weerd on lap 14, Austin Liggett (Tracy, CA) held off all challengers to win the “Peter Murphy Classic” at Tulare’s Thunderbowl Raceway. For Liggett, the $4,000 USAC West Coast Sprint Car victory was his second win of 2019 and the ninth of his career.

Sam Hafertepe Jr. made a long wait for redemption worthwhile dominating Friday night’s Lucas Oil American Sprint Car Series presented by MAVtv main event at I-96 Speedway. Hafertepe won his heat race, his qualifier, and led all 25-laps holding off Michigan driver Ryan Ruhl and GLSS regular Phil Gressman for the victory.
