Hafertepe Perfect in Route to Second Win of the Weekend at I-96
Sam Hafertepe Jr. capped off a perfect weekend on Saturday at I-96 Speedway by winning his second feature of the weekend with the Lucas Oil American Sprint Car Series presented by MAVtv and Great Lakes Super Sprints. Kofoid Scores Exciting 410 Win at Fremont
Michael “Buddy” Kofoid had only raced at Fremont Speedway twice, including Saturday, May 18. But, the 17-year-old Penngrove, California driver looked like a long-time veteran, handling a tricky track surface, passing for the lead late in the 410 sprint feature and holding off a challenger to score his first ever win at “The Track That Action Built” on Kistler Engines Night.
