Barney gets win in front of hometown crowd at Brewerton

Jason Barney impressed the hometown crowd on Friday night at the Brewerton Speedway as he came from the 13th starting position to secure his first career Lucas Oil Empire Super Sprint win in front of his hometown fans. Barney, who lives only a few blocks from the speedway, worked past high point man Steve Poirier while on his way to the win in the 25-lap affair.

Sauder slides to victory at Hartford

Even though it had been almost 10 years since visiting Hartford Speedway Kyle Sauder looked as sharp as ever around the massive half mile oval picking up the feature victory Friday with the Engine Pro Sprints on Dirt presented by ARP. Sauder took the lead from Ryan Ruhl while negotiating slower traffic and held on following a late race restart for the victory in the CH Motorsports car.

Kirkham wins at opening night of the Monster Meltdown at Skagit

Mother Nature tried her best, but at the end of the night, Skagit Speedway completed night one of the Monster Meltdown by crowning a first time winner with the Summer Thunder Sprint Series presented by Here 2 Wire and Finishline Graphics. Lawrance Kirkham stood triumphant on the podium after 30 crazy laps of action to collect his first career Skagit Speedway win. Earlier in the evening, Kelsey Carpenter won the Sportsman Sprint Cup main event.
