The Southern Outlaw Sprints event scheduled for Friday at Northwest Florida Speedway was canceled due to rain. SOS officials indicated that the track had 1.5 hours of rain and washed out the program. Saturday’s event at Southern Raceway in Milton, Florida is still on as scheduled.

Due to persistent showers and flooding in some areas the POWRi West Midget Car Series events Friday at Boyd Raceway and Saturday at Superbowl Speedway have been cancelled. The POWRi West series continues on June 13th at Riverside I-44 Speedway in Oklahoma City, OK.

Kennedale Speedway Park is rained out for this Saturday, May 16th due to the amount of rain over the last few weeks and 40% chance Friday and 60% Saturday. Kennedale officials have rescheduled the Demo Derby and kids ride on the cars for May 30th along with a regular program on that night to try and make up for some of the rain outs.
