Cottage Grove Rained Out

The races for Saturday April 11th at Cottage Grove Speedway have been cancelled due to rain. A storm during the course of the night soaked the grounds and left standing water in several places in addition to the ground being too soft for track equipment to attempt to dry things out. CGS will be in action on Saturday April 18th for Cottage Grove Area Chamber of Commerce Night at the races.

Michael Kofoid wins at Cottage Grove

The 2015 season officially got underway at the Cottage Grove Speedway on Saturday April 4th. In front of full crowd the historic 1/4-mile clay oval would produce some fantastic action. In addition to racing a special Easter Egg activity took place where drivers handed out eggs to kids in the crowd which was sponsored by the wonderful people Highoctane Die Cast.

Cottage Grove Speedway would host another thriller of an American Sprint Car Series-Northwest Region feature On Saturday June 14th. Twenty-four cars would be on tap with entries hailing from the states of Oregon, Washington, and Idaho as well as British Columbia Canada and New Zealand.
