Recovering from a poor qualifying effort, Grass Valley, CA driver, Jason Statler, bobbed and weaved his way forward at the tight confines of Placerville Speedway to capture a 10th place finish with the King of the West Series.

In the midst of a very strong run during the King of the West opener on Saturday night, Jason Statler spun to avoid of a wrecked car while running in the fourth spot, and was able to march his way back up to a ninth place finish.

Back in action with the World of Outlaw’s on Friday night at the Merced Speedway, Jason Statler earned hard charger honors for the night as the Grass Valley, CA driver charged from 24th to 12th on the very tight speedway.

Kicking his 2014 season off over the weekend at the Stockton Dirt Track, Jason Statler competed in the 360 race on Friday night where he scored an eighth place finish before coming up one spot short of the World of Outlaw feature on Saturday night.
