Oklahoma Sports Parks makes another attempt to hold the 7th Annual Harold Leep Jr. Memorial sprint car race after having to wave off the initial attempt last month due to soggy grounds.

Brian McClelland’s second victory of the season last week at the Southern Oklahoma Speedway in Ardmore gave XXX chassis their fifth victory in Oil Capital Racing Series competition this season and thus they move to within one victory of a tie for the chassis manufacture lead in wins with Eagle Motorsports who has six main events on their resume.

The Oil Capital Racing Series will produce its second ever “Non-Wing” sprint car champion at the Osage Casino Caney Valley Speedway in Caney Kansas this Saturday night as OCRS will conduct its final non-wing sprint car event of the season during this weekends Labor Day holiday.

Oil Capital Racing Series sprint cars are heading to south central Oklahoma this Saturday night to John & Nicky Webb’s Southern Oklahoma Speedway where OCRS will conduct their second and final event for 2014 at the 3/8-mile oval track in Ardmore.

This Saturday will find the action packed sprint cars of the Oil Capital Racing Series making their second of three 2014 visits to the 4/10-mile oval of the Oklahoma Sports Park in Ada Oklahoma.
