DIRT CUP RAIN DATE CANCELLED
Due to a contractual conflict the Dirt Cup rain date scheduled for August 30th has been cancelled.

Officials waited out the inclement weather as long as possible at rain-soaked ASA Member Track Skagit Speedway and when the rain wouldn’t let up long enough to get the track able to race that forced the track to cancel today’s race.

Mother Nature won the weather battle Saturday night at ASA Member Track Skagit Speedway. Night three of the 41st Jim Raper Memorial Dirt Cup presented by Goodyear will be run on Sunday June 17th at 1:00 p.m. instead.

Murphy Wins Opening Night at the 2012 Dirt Cup
The 41st Jim Raper Memorial Dirt Cup presented by Goodyear got underway Thursday night at Skagit Speedway. 37 Sprint cars graced the pit area and began the first of three nights in search of the $25,000.00 first place prize.
