It’s going to be a busy month of May for the World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series. There’s a little bit of everything on the agenda as the year nears summer. Next month will be jam-packed with action as The Greatest Show on Dirt is set to take on 13 races
The World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Cars are ready to go from a famed 1/2 mile to two of the country’s top 1/4-mile dirt tracks. After a night at the historic Knoxville Raceway, a pair of bullrings are on the agenda as Illinois’ Jacksonville Speedway and Haubstadt, IN’s Tri-State Speedway await The Greatest Show on Dirt this weekend – April 25-26.
There’s never a bad time to visit “The Sprint Car Capital of the World.” The entire sport converges on Knoxville Raceway in August for the NOS Energy Drink Knoxville Nationals presented by Casey’s, but the World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Cars make a pair of trips prior to “The Granddaddy of ‘Em All.”
I-55 Federated Auto Parts Raceway Park just doesn’t miss. Friday’s Federated Auto Parts Spring Classic opener at the Pevely, MO oval served up the latest piece of evidence. Fans were treated to a 40-lap thrill ride as the World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Cars put on a show.
The time has come to honor one of the finest men to ever grace the sport of Sprint Car racing, Jason Johnson. The “Ragin’ Cajun” embodied professionalism throughout his career as he launched and built Jason Johnson Racing into an organization capable of competing at the highest level of the sport. Johnson knew no strangers, treating all in the pit area with kindness and respect.
Another day, another David Gravel win. The defending World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car champion is at the top of his game. His title campaign in 2024 was plenty impressive, but he’s out for domination in 2025.
