Mother Nature put a halt to what was scheduled to be the opening night festivities on Saturday night at Sharon Speedway. With a high likelihood of rain in the forecast throughout the remainder of the day and evening, the decision was made to cancel the kickoff to the 95th anniversary season.

Sharon Speedway is set to kickoff the 2024 racing season this Saturday night (May 11). The Hovis Auto & Truck Supply “410” Sprint Cars will headline the 95th anniversary season opener in a “Super Series” event presented by Bala Management.

Sharon Speedway is thrilled to announce that all Hovis Auto & Truck Supply “410” Sprint Car events in 2024 will pay a minimum of $4,000 to-win, $400 to-start as marketing partner Bala Management of Masury, Ohio has come on board to present the “Super Series” slate of events!

After a weekend off, Sharon Speedway returns to action this weekend with two shows part of the “Apple Festival Nationals”. Friday night (September 8) is presented by A&MP Electric and will feature a complete show for both the Hovis Auto & Truck Supply UMP Modifieds and the Gibson Insurance Agency Pro Stocks. Saturday night (September 9) is presented by Stackhouse Construction and will feature a complete show for the Hovis Auto & Truck Supply “410” Sprint Cars.

The “410” Sprint Cars will return for their only appearance in the month of August and will race for $4,000 to-win, $400 to-start. It’ll be the next-to-last non-sanctioned “410” Sprint Car show of the 94th anniversary season.

After two nights last weekend for the “Steel Valley Pro Stock Nationals”, Sharon Speedway will return to action this Saturday night (July 29) with a full four-division racing program for the “Bill Kirila Memorial” as the 94th anniversary season rolls on.
