Kansas City, KIS — (May 7, 2015) — The Lucas Oil American Sprint Car Series presented by MAVTV American Real will have to wait for another day to return to Lakeside Speedway, as Mother Nature has put the brakes on the McCarthy Auto Group KC Klassic for the second year in a row.

While the forecast had drastically improved over the week, the weather proved as unpredictable as ever as rain has set in over the Kansas oval. Event promoters, Tony Bruce, Jr. and Scott Traylor, will advise as to whether or not the event will be rescheduled.

Any pre-purchased tickets will be refunded. Anyone with questions on the refund process are advised to go to http://www.tbjpromotions.com.

The Lucas Oil American Sprint Car Series presented by MAVTV American Real is scheduled to compete next at the I-30 Speedway in Little Rock, Ark. on Saturday, May 9. Any changes will be posted to http://www.ascsracing.com.
