Lucas Oil ASCS season begins in Arizona

As the month of month of March approaches so does the start of the 2012 season for the Lucas Oil American Sprint Car Series presented by K&N Filters. With 64 dates on the national schedule, the Lucas Oil American Sprint Car Series presented by K&N Filters will kick off its twenty-first year of competition in the state of Arizona with first time visits in their first four round of competition.

Brady Bacon – Heading Southwest!

Final preparations are being made as Brady Bacon Racing #99 will hit the road the first weekend in March to compete at Canyon Speedway Park near Peoria, Arizona. The event marks the opener for the Lucas Oil ASCS National Series. The Broken Arrow, Oklahoma driver finished third in the series’ standings in 2011, and plans to climb the ladder two more spots this year as he competes for the title.

PERRIS “SOKOLA SHOOTOUT” OPENS 2012 USAC/CRA SEASON THIS SATURDAY

This Saturday, February 25th, the Amsoil USAC/CRA Sprint Car Series will kickoff their 2012 campaign at Perris Auto Speedway. Joining the traditional 410 cubic-inch powered machines will be the winged California Lightning Sprints and popular PAS Senior 360 Sprint Cars. The spectator gates for the “Sokola Shootout” will open at 5:00pm, with racing at “America’s Premier Dirt Track” to begin at 7:00pm.

Ross Rankine Seeks Second Championship With Nine Racing

2011 USAC Midwest Focus Midget Pavement Champion Ross Rankine, of Brownsburg, Indiana, will rejoin the Nine Racing team for the 2012 season. Ross will return in the #9 Focus Midget as he sets his sights on earning a consecutive championship in the USAC Midwest Focus Midget Pavement Series beginning in March for a two-day event at North Carolina’s Ace Speedway.
