Due to thunderstorms in the Tulsa area, bringing high winds and heavy rain Saturday evening, the Dirt Down in T-Town finale at Tulsa Speedway for the American Sprint Car Series National Tour has been postponed. Series and track officials are working to find a suitable makeup date.

Unfortunately, the rain currently coming down at the Track That Action Built is too much for us to take on this morning and we are forced to cancel tonight’s events. We will be working with both series on make up dates in the future.

GLSS $5,000 to win show at I-96 rained out; Make up August 16th

A large field of 37 Great Lakes Super Sprints gathered at I-96 Speedway Friday for a $5,000 to win purse but Mother Nature had other plans. After hot laps, qualifying, a rain delay and three of four heat races, rain settled in and canceled the remainder of the program. A make up date of August 16th has been set. The next regular GLSS show is July 26th.

SHARON FALLS VICTIM TO MOTHER NATURE ON SATURDAY FOR THE 2ND TIME OF 2024

For the first time since the scheduled May 11 opener, Mother Nature takes the checkered flag at Sharon Speedway. With early morning rain and a high likelihood of thunderstorms throughout the afternoon and evening, the decision was made to cancel Saturday night’s racing program. Unfortunately it was the second time rain claimed a “Super Series” event presented by Bala Management.
