Brown, Beaver, and Stelzer Win at Knoxville Raceway

Brian Brown, Joe Beaver, and Matthew Stelzer were victorious on Saturday at Knoxville Raceway. Brown took the lead from Josh Schneiderman and pulled away from the field during a pair of restarts for his second win at Knoxville this season and 46th of his career. Beaver held of Jon Agan in a thrilling 360 main event while Stezler picked up his second win of the year in the Pro Sprint division.

Due to snow showers hitting our fans, drivers and teams to the north of us, and cold temperatures in the Knoxville area this weekend, the Pella Motors/Kraig Ford season opener, as well as practice night on Friday, have been postponed until next week.

Champions and Family Celebrated at 2018 Knoxville Raceway Championship Cup Series Banquet

In racing, family is what ties it together. At Saturday night’s Knoxville Raceway Championship Cup Series Banquet, the racing family was celebrated as over $250,000 in cash and contingencies were handed out. The event again played host to over 500 guests at the Prairie Meadows Racetrack and Casino in Altoona, Iowa, and was emceed by track announcers Tony Bokhoven and Kris Krug.

Knoxville Raceway Announces 2019 Season Schedule

The Sprint Car Capital of the World, Knoxville Raceway, has released its schedule for the 2019 racing season. The schedule, as always, is highlighted by the 59th running of the Knoxville Nationals, to be held Wednesday, August 7 through Saturday, August 10. The event was sold out in 2018.
