A stout weekend at Knoxville Raceway showcased a return to Victory Lane for Big Game Motorsports. David Gravel advanced from eighth to win the opening night of a World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series doubleheader at the half-mile oval last Friday. It marked the team’s ninth triumph of the season.
Even when David Gravel looks like he might be out of contention for victory, he’s not. The defending World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series champion lined up fifth for Thursday’s 35-lap Feature at Ohsweken Speedway, and on the opening circuit he slipped a spot to sixth.
Another day, another David Gravel win. The defending World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car champion is at the top of his game. His title campaign in 2024 was plenty impressive, but he’s out for domination in 2025.
David Gravel and Big Game Motorsports are on another level right now. The 2024 World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car title was something they worked hard for. It eluded them for three seasons straight. But they have no plans of taking their foot off the gas after finally capturing the championship. They want to go on a run for the record books. Not just one title, but many.
