With a busy Summer of work behind him, Jason Meyers is happy to announce that he will be in action at the upcoming Gold Cup Race of Champions at the Silver Dollar Speedway in Chico, CA on September 6th-7th.

Jason Meyers showed no signs of rust this past weekend, as he returned to the cockpit of his Tarlton Racing No.21M machine after nearly a month off, and scored two wins against the King of the West Series in Tulare, CA.

A narrow track and a bad starting position led to Jason Meyers and his Tarlton Racing team scoring a 15th place finish with the World of Outlaws Friday night at the Merced Speedway in Merced, CA.

Jason Meyers had one of those weekends that make a driver want to pull their hair out.

On the weekend when NCAA brackets are announced, there was excitement going on at Thunderbowl Raceway in the form of the bracket like racing format of the STP World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series. The two may seem like they may not have much in common, but two northern California based teams have two back-to-back championships — Jason Meyer’s Elite Racing and San Francisco University.

With one of the biggest races in the country taking place locally for Tarlton Racing, the team opted to roll out two cars for the event with Tommy Tarlton and Jason Meyers each behind the wheel of a 21 machine.

Filling in for Tommy Tarlton, Jason Meyers made his first 410 start in his native California since march, and first since the Knoxville Nationals, and scored a second place finish at the Cotton Classic on Saturday night.
