Kerry Madsen and the Keneric Racing #29 team will be busy this week with four races planned.

The trip to the East is over for the Keneric Racing #29 team, and the tow back to the Midwest started with a good sixth place run at the Lawrenceburg Speedway in Indiana last night. This weekend, the World of Outlaws and driver Kerry Madsen head to Ohio’s Attica Speedway on Friday night, and the I-96 Speedway in Lake Odessa, Michigan on Saturday.

Kerry Madsen is in the midst of the World of Outlaws eastern tour. A combination of a tough draw and the tough Pennsylvania Posse were the story last weekend, and the Keneric Racing #29 team finished 14th last night in Middletown, New York. Things continue tonight at the New Egypt Speedway in New Jersey, on Friday at the Dirt Track in Charlotte, North Carolina, and Monday at the Lawrenceburg Speedway in Indiana.

Before his engine started faltering with about seven laps to go at the Elko Speedway in Minnesota, Kerry Madsen and the Keneric Racing #29 team appeared on their way to their second consecutive victory with the World of Outlaws in as many Fridays.

Qualifying was a key to Friday’s win. “We went out early and we were third quick,” says Kerry. “We had quick time for a while. We were able to finish fourth in the heat, but we didn’t really feel good about it. We made some adjustments before the Dash.”

Kerry Madsen and the Keneric Racing #29 team are back on familiar ground in a couple of ways. They are back on familiar tracks in the Midwest and they had a more familiar finish for them…a top five run at the Tri-State Speedway near Haubstadt, Indiana on Saturday night.

It will be one week exactly when the Keneric Racing #29 racing team hits the track for their 2013 campaign.

Kerry Madsen finished up the 2012 World of Outlaws campaign with “The World Finals” last weekend at The Dirt Track in Charlotte, North Carolina.

It looked like it was in the cards last Saturday for Kerry Madsen, but it was not to be. Leading the Ironman 55 at the I-55 Raceway in Pevely, Missouri on lap 47, he tangled with a lapped car and crashed.

It was a solid week for Kerry Madsen and the Keneric Racing #29 team. A third place finish in the prelim at the Morgan Hughes Williams Grove Open highlighted the last ten days. The St. Mary’s, New South Wales, Australia native also came home a solid fourth in Saturday’s World of Outlaws run at the Rolling Wheels Raceway in New York.

One of the biggest events on the calendar is upon us, and Kerry Madsen and the Keneric Racing #29 are ready to take on the Pennsylvania Posse in this weekend’s Williams Grove Open near Mechanicsburg.
