Following successful displays honoring sprint car champions Tony Stewart (2011), Jeff Gordon (’12), Mario Andretti (’13), Steve Kinser (’14) and Doug Wolfgang (’15), the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame & Museum is pleased to have its 2016 special exhibition featured at this year’s Cox Design Southern Iowa SprintWeek

Topping the list of “things to do at the 2016 5-Hour ENERGY Knoxville Nationals” is the United Trailers Golf Classic, held in memory of Kevin Gobrecht.

2016 marks the fifteenth annual Cox Design & Metal Fabrication Southern Iowa SprintWeek, which will take place August 4-13 at the big half-mile dirt tracks in Knoxville and Oskaloosa.

The 27th annual National Sprint Car Hall of Fame (NSCHoF) induction banquet is less than one month away and tickets are still available for the ceremony.

The National Sprint Car Hall of Fame & Museum’s popular series of monthly Sprint Car 101 forums has been scheduled for the spring and summer of 2016, with the Knoxville-based programs moving to select Saturday afternoons in May, June and July. The schedule is as follows:

The National Sprint Car Hall of Fame & Museum Foundation is pleased to announce that it is once again traveling north on Sunday, November 22, to present its next Sprint Car 101 forum, entitled “Remembering the 1975 Sprint Car Racing Season at Algona, Iowa.”

Once again, the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame & Museum in Knoxville, Iowa, will be teaming up with the National Dirt Late Model Hall of Fame in Florence, Kentucky, and the DIRT Motorsports Hall of Fame in Weedsport, New York, to host a fundraising auction for all three museums during the World Finals in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Next Thursday night’s “Sprint Car 101” forum at the National Sprint Car Museum will feature Knoxville Raceway veteran sprint car drivers Curt Hogue of Ames and Randy Smith of Mount Ayr.
