Sweet brings the World of Outlaws back to Placerville in 2016

DeCaires wins Civil War Series feature at Placerville
For the second consecutive year, Greg DeCaires defended his home turf against the Civil War Series, and again earned a spot in the 55th Annual Johnny Key Classic after leading all 30-laps during the Saturday night feature event at the Placerville Speedway and becoming the series’ sixth winner in six events thus far.

Another solid roster of entries packed the pit area of Placerville Speedway for Saturday’s Red Hawk Casino Championship point racing presented by Thompson’s Auto Centers. Steven Tiner of Elverta drive to victory in the Domco Plumbing Sprint Car division.

Wiesz wins at Placerville
After two high profile events in a week, Placerville Speedway opened its Red Hawk Casino Championship point racing season presented by Thompson’s Auto Centers on Saturday night with four divisions of competition and a hearty car count in each of them. The event offered inflated winnings to each of the weekly division which in turn, produced an exciting night of racing for the weekly series in the 50th Anniversary Season.

Hirst begins bid at KWS title three on Saturday in Placerville
Chico’s Kyle Hirst led the way last season with four victories en route to his second straight King of the West title and officially begins the march for three in a row on Saturday in Placerville. He also had tremendous consistency, finishing on the podium in half of the races and in the top-five 13-times out of 18 starts.
