Selinsgrove Speedway

Selinsgrove Speedway will present the first show of the regular season at 6 p.m. this Saturday, March 23, providing the track crew can prep the speedway’s clay surface following this week’s snowstorm accumulation.

The green flag will fall on the 51st consecutive season opener at Selinsgrove Speedway this Sunday, March 10, featuring a program of 410 sprint car racing. Track gates will open at 12 p.m., with qualifying slated to begin at 2 p.m.

Selinsgrove Speedway & Raceway Park concluded the 2012 season, which marked the track’s 50th consecutive year of operation, with the 12th annual awards banquet Saturday evening at the Sheraton Harrisburg-Hershey Hotel. The event recognized and celebrated the year’s top performing race teams in the track’s 358 sprint car, late model, pro stock, roadrunner, micro sprint car, and go kart classes.

Selinsgrove Speedway will present the final points race of the season for the 358 sprint cars, late models, pro stocks, and roadrunners at 7 p.m. this Saturday, Sept. 22, sponsored by Central Builders Supply Co. Track gates will open at 5 p.m.

Selinsgrove Speedway’s competitive 2012 season has come down to the final four races of the historic half-mile track’s 67th year of existence and 50th consecutive year of operation.

Selinsgrove Speedway’s regular four divisions, the 358 sprint cars, late models, pro stocks, and roadrunners, will be back at the historic half-mile oval this Saturday, Aug. 18
