That’s the best way to summarize Trey Starks’ weekend, when he overcame an ill-handling sprint car to finish 10th with the ASCS Southern California Region at Thunderbowl Raceway in Tulare, Calif., on Saturday.

He was forced to coast to the pits and gingerly pull up to his trailer.

Sometimes weird and crazy works.

This weekend will be full of new experiences for Trey Starks, who relishes the challenges.

Except for one miscue and a rainstorm, last weekend was arguably a career best for Trey Starks.

The early hole was just too deep for Trey Starks to overcome.

If seat time is the most important ingredient in making a successful racer, Trey Starks is on the hot track.
