Starks Wins USCS Feature at Cherokee Speedway

Trey Starks of Puyallup, WA made a statement Saturday night in the 20th Anniversary United Sprint Car Series Outlaw Thunder Tour Presented by K&N Filters race at Cherokee Speedway by coming from the 20th and last starting spot to take the lead on lap 18 of the 30 lap race. He then charged the final 12 laps to park his Jeff McCall owned #23 in the www.Rockauto.com USCS Victory Lane after his second straight USCS win. The victory was the 20-year driver’s career fifth USCS feature win.

Starks garnered his eighth feature victory of the season at the eighth different track – including his second in eight days – last Saturday at Castrol Raceway, where he claimed the finale of the 61st annual Gold Cup while driving for Doug Rutz at the NSA Shootout event.

Starks wins John Carroll Classic at Skagit

Trey Starks is officially tuned up for the Jim Raper Memorial Dirt Cup in two weeks at Skagit Speedway. The Puyallup, WA driver led the final 19 laps of action in the 360 at Skagit Speedway on Saturday night to collect the John Carroll Classic Win presented by Industrial Resources Inc. on Janicki Industries night at the races.
