All eyes are on “The Sprint Car Capital of the World.” Knoxville Raceway is the destination this weekend for the World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series stars and a whole lot more. The second leg of the Premier Chevy Dealers Clash is expected to attract a massive field of entries for two nights of racing, June 13-14.
Beaver Dam Raceway simply does not disappoint. Saturday’s Jim “JB” Boyd Memorial delivered the latest piece of evidence. The Wisconsin 1/3 mile gave fans 40 laps of non-stop battling. Action was all over the track, especially toward the front of the pack.
Every now and then a driver winning at a specific track becomes nearly a foregone conclusion, and Carson Macedo is making a case at Jackson Motorplex. The Lemoore, CA native entered Wednesday’s Fendt Showdown locked in a four-way tie for the most World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series victories at the Minnesota oval. Despite having less starts than Donny Schatz, Logan Schuchart, and Brad Sweet, he’d managed to pile up four checkered flags to equal them.
The 2025 World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series season has built up the hunger for Sheldon Haudenschild. He’s been piecing together one of the most consistent campaigns of his nine-year career with The Greatest Show on Dirt. The Stenhouse Jr.-Marshall Racing No. 17 is a steady force in the top 10, and Haudenschild has his fair share of top fives in 2025.
There’s little that motivates a race car driver more than finishing second. Last August Michael “Buddy” Kofoid led the opening 18 laps at River Cities Speedway with the World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series. But a pivotal restart cost him the top spot and ultimately the victory as he and Roth Motorsports settled for second.
The northern part of the United States hasn’t seen The Greatest Show on Dirt in 2025, but that’s about to change in a big way. The World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series is trucking from southern Ohio after a Memorial Day stop at Atomic Speedway, all the way up to North Dakota for a weekend in the “Peace Garden State.”
