Springtime is when temperatures rise, flowers bloom, and slide jobs ramp up. April is on the horizon and ready to bring a major midwestern swing for the World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series.
The rich tradition of Sprint Car racing in Oklahoma will continue to grow this week. The World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series is aimed at the “Sooner State” for a full weekend of action.
The FENDT Showdown will be one of the marquee events on the 2026 racing schedule at Jackson Motorplex. The spectacle on Saturday, Aug. 22, is the only visit of the season to the track for the World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series.
Change is a constant in Sprint Car racing, but that doesn’t mean some moves don’t arrive as a surprise. Sheldon Haudenschild’s name filled the headlines last September when he announced he would be parting ways with Stenhouse Jr./Marshall Racing at season’s end, punctuating a fruitful eight-year partnership.
Make no mistake about it, Donny Schatz is back. Last year served up perhaps the most trying time of his career. After battling struggles through the first half of 2025, Schatz and Tony Stewart/Curb-Agajanian Racing parted ways in August.

Last month the Dillsburg, PA native and his Macri Motorsports crew rolled down to Barberville, FL’s Volusia Speedway Park stole the show. They collected finishes of third, fourth, and a $20,000 win in the Federated Auto Parts DIRTcar Nationals finale to bag the Big Gator.
