Dusty Zomer holds off NSL Field at Huset’s for $8,000

Dusty Zomer held off Danny Lasoski and the rest of the FVP National Sprint League field for an $8,000 victory Sunday night at the Huset’s Speedway. Chuck Brennan, owner of the Badlands Motor Speedway coming in 2016, put up a bonus $5,000 for Zomer’s win. It was the Sioux Falls, South Dakota driver’s second NSL win of the season in the Todd and Susan LaHaise #82.

Kekich wins Auto Racing for Kids night at Mercer

dam Kekich raced to victory in the 410 Sprint Cars in the Auto Racers for Kids Charity event held at Mercer Raceway Park. All proceeds from this program benefit disadvantaged youth in Northwestern Pennsylvania. The designated charity for this area is the Children’s Aid Society of Mercer County. Kekich benefited when Jack Sodeman, Jr. retired while the field was under a red flag on lap three. But, once out front, there was no denying the third generation driver from nearby Hermitage, PA.
