Brandon Wimmer and the Hammer Motorsports #24H led by Randy and Lisa Hammer are starting their 2014 campaign in Ohio. The team began Friday, April 4 at Attica Raceway Park and suffered a tire issue that resulted in a DNF. The next two weeks, they’ll be competing locally in anticipation of the May 2 and 3 arrival of the World of Outlaws at Eldora Speedway near Rossburg.

Following the Knoxville Nationals, Brandon Wimmer and his Destiny Motorsports team elected to follow the World of Outlaws out West, and got started by racing in McCool Junction, NE, and a pair of shows in the Dakota’s.

Though he missed out on making it into the Knoxville Nationals feature event, Brandon Wimmer and his Destiny Motorsports team turned in a performance they can be proud of as Wimmer scored a sixth place finish in the Knoxville Nationals ‘B’ Main.

Brandon Wimmer and his Destiny Motorsports team had high hopes heading into the Knoxville 360 Nationals, however, an engine that didn’t seem to want to run all weekend, did not make for a good weekend.

Though they have struggled at times in 2013, Brandon Wimmer and his Destiny Motorsports team put together their best night of the year, at one of the biggest races in the world, as Wimmer tallied a fourth place finish at the King’s Royal at the Eldora Speedway on Saturday night.

With rain continuing to hamper the conclusion of Ohio Speedweek, Brandon Wimmer and his Destiny Motorsports team ended their week with a pair of top 15 finishes, and fifth overall in Ohio Speedweek points.

With a grueling week ahead of them, Brandon Wimmer and his Destiny Motorsports team hoped to string together some solid runs. The team has showed some very good speed, however, lady luck does not seem to be on their side.

After destroying a car at the World of Outlaw race in Kokomo, IN, Brandon Wimmer and his Destiny Motorsports team put a new Triple X Chassis together, and shook it down over this past weekend, in preparations for the upcoming Ohio Speedweek.

What was ultimately a ‘home game’ for Brandon Wimmer on Wednesday night at the Kokomo Speedway, did not go quite the way the Fairmount, IN driver hoped when it was all said and done.

With a brand new XXX chassis put together to take on the World of Outlaws, Brandon Wimmer and his Destiny Motorsports team had one of those weekends they would like to forget about, although they showed plenty of speed all weekend long.

Back in action with his Destiny Motorsports team for two nights of action over the weekend, Brandon Wimmer scored a third place finish on Saturday night at the Earl Gaerte Classic in Plymouth, IN a night after scoring 11th and 13th place finishes during Twin-25 night at the Attica Raceway Park.
