SEASON OPENER AT THUNDER MOUNTAIN POSTPONED TO RAIN, MAKEUP DATE TBD
The season opener for the A-Verdi Storage Containers CRSA Sprints will have to wait two more weeks. CRSA officials, along with Thunder Mountain Speedway track officials, have postponed tomorrow’s event due to rain.
CRSA OPENS 2026 SEASON SATURDAY AT THUNDER MOUNTAIN
The 2026 campaign for the A-Verdi Storage Containers CRSA Sprints is about to begin. For the second time in the last three years, CRSA’s opening day will take place at Thunder Mountain Speedway. In addition, the series will open up the Joe’s Garage Southern Tier Series.

Zach Sobotka’s jump from Sportsman Modifieds to Sprint Cars couldn’t have gone any better. In his first full season behind the wheel of a 305, the Parish driver capped off a dream rookie campaign by winning the 2025 CRSA Sprints championship, becoming the first rookie to do so since John Virgilio in 2011.

The biggest event in the history of the A-Verdi Storage Containers CRSA Sprints is around the corner. “The Future Stars of Sprint Cars” are set for the return of the two-night New York 305 Nationals presented by Dandy at Woodhull Raceway, Friday and Saturday night.
