Windom Wins Wild Hulman Classic at Terre Haute
In the 51-year history of the Tony Hulman Classic, only a select few drivers have won the race on three occasions: Cary Faas, Levi Jones, and now Chris Windom, who snagged his third career rifle, and second straight, following a spirited duel Wednesday night at the Terre Haute (Ind.) Action Track.

Roa Wins 70th Running of the Salute to Indy at Perris
Leading the final eight laps, Brody Roa (Garden Grove, CA) emerged victorious at the “70th Running of the Salute to Indy” at Perris Auto Speedway. Driving the BR Performance #91R HD Industries / Burris Racing Eagle, Roa’s win marked his first $2,500 AMSOIL USAC/CRA Sprint Car win of the campaign.

A packed pit area of race cars produced the most exciting finishes of Selinsgrove Speedway’s early 75th anniversary season Saturday night with Alex Bright of Collegeville making a thrilling late-race pass by Briggs Danner of Allentown to score the victory in the 25-lap USAC East Coast 360 wingless sprint car main event.

Maria Cofer Leads Wire-to-Wire With USAC Western States Midgets at Petaluma
Starting from the pole position, Maria Cofer (Macdoel, CA) led all 25-laps to score the Saturday night victory at Petaluma Speedway. Racing the family owned #57 Tule Vista Ranches Spike, Cofer earned her third $1,200 USAC Western States Midget win at the Sonoma-Marin Fairgrounds. Point leader Austin Liggett, Blake Bower, top qualifier Brody Fuson, and hard charger C.J. Sarna rounded out the top-five drivers.

Ensign Wins USAC West Coast Sprint Car Series Feature at Petaluma
After recovering from mechanical problems, “The Human Highlight Reel” Geoff Ensign (Sebastopol, CA) led all 25-laps to claim victory at Petaluma Speedway. Driving Ted Finkenbinder’s #3F Western Industrial X-Ray Eagle, Ensign raced to his fourth career $1,500 USAC West Coast Sprint Car triumph. Former champion Austin Liggett, hard charger Ryan Timmons, top qualifier Cody Fendley, and new point leader D.J. Johnson followed Ensign to the checkered flags.
